Coming out of the fog

Michael just got settled into his room. He's still quite groggy and sleepy from the anesthesia, but, amazingly, he is quite chatty. In true Michael fashion, he has actually had us all laughing a couple of times. He can't believe it is already after 5 o'clock! He looks comfortable and says he is not feeling any pain. He has a PCA (patient controlled anesthesia) button that allows him to manage his own pain with the push of a button. We shared all the good news the surgeon shared with us...his face lit up. We are sharing your good wishes with him. We can clearly see he is buoyed by all the love coming his way.
